Abstract:

Isoëtes echinospora Durieu is a very rare species in Poland. In 2009, it was found in Lake Okońskie in the eastern part of the Pomeranian Lakeland (NW Poland). This is the ninth locality of this species in Poland. It was found at a depth of 0.1-1.0 m. The water is acidic and poor in dissolved salts, including calcium salts, but quite rich in humic substances. The population of I. echinospora is relatively numerous. The individuals form aggregations or occur together with other isoetids (I. lacustris and Lobelia dortmanna).
